Yew House

Since the House System began 5 years ago, Yew House has been top of the house competitions at the end of each school year. Whilst we know we have many wonderful sportsmen and sportwomen who have helped us to be successful at both the Swimming Gala and on Sports Day, we also have many talented students who have done their bit for the House by responding to the challenges of the House Competitions in AA. Maths and Science to name but a few. We have always been the house that enters everything with Mrs Skilton's Mantra of "it's not the winning, it's the taking part" that has clearly had a positive effect!

Our House Charity is MacMillan Cancer Support, and over the past three years we have raised a total of £1423.66 for MacMillan.

There is certainly never a dull moment in Yew house and we look forward to working closely with all students and parents throughout the year and hope that we can continue our winning ways.
