Curriculum Overview

Our students follow a broad and balanced curriculum in school. We aim to deliver knowledge and understanding by stimulating students' interests in the world and their role within its past, present and future. We use the recent changes in the curriculum at Key Stage 3 to develop students' skills, enabling them to access the learning opportunities available. Learners at Easthampstead Park Community School need the key attitudes of resourcefulness, responsiveness, reflection, reciprocity and resilience to fulfil their potential; by explicitly teaching skills to support their development we equip them to succeed in the school and the wider world.

Our students follow a broad and balanced curriculum in school.

The curriculum is delivered through a 50 lesson, ten day timetable. Each lesson generally lasts for one hour unless students are working on joint subject or curriculum projects when the traditional timetable may be altered. Students also spend 30 minutes each day with their tutor; this time is spent on communication, preparing for the day and support. It is also the school's legal registration point for the day.
