What topics are covered?
- Selecting and using ICT tools independently to find things out from a variety of sources, selecting and synthesising information to meet your needs and developing an ability to question the accuracy, bias and plausibility of information
- Developing your ideas using ICT tools to amend and refine your work, enhancing its quality and accuracy
- Choosing, designing and implementing ICT systems to suit particular needs - including to model, measure, record, respond to, control and automate events
- Using ICT to effectively explore, develop and interpret information and solve problems
- Using ICT to exchange, share and present information, both directly and through electronic media whilst considering fitness for audience and purpose
- Reviewing, modifying and evaluating your work (and your peers') , reflecting critically on its quality and progress
- Reflecting on the impact of ICT on your own and others' lives, considering the social, economic, political, legal, ethical and moral issues.
What activities can you expect to do in this subject?
Activities will include teacher-led and group discussions, individual work, using computers, self and peer evaluations, role play and many more!
