Students are assessed through Controlled Assessments for their skills in Speaking and Writing. These are marked and moderated by the exam board.

How homework is set:

On a regular basis. Students should also be learning vocabulary and phrases independently.

How parents/carers can support their child:

Help with vocab learning.

Make sure that DVDs you buy have a French/German language option, and have subtitles up.

Help with the learning process in the run-up to controlled assessments
