We organise a wide variety of extra-curricular activities throughout the year to enhance our students’ educational experience. These activities include day trips, evening theatre visits, and foreign visits. We also run a number of reward trips and trips for our Higher Attaining students (HAS)
Inevitably there are costs involved with trips but we do our best to keep these as low as possible. In line with our Charges Policy, the Governing Body will not allow any child to be prevented by financial hardship from taking part in an off-site activity, which is a compulsory element of a public examination syllabus. Parents who find themselves in this situation should contact the Trip Leader (usually the class teacher) who will discuss their particular concerns with them. The granting of funds is at the discretion of the head teacher.
